Dear Friends,

I am Janet Hanson and it is my honor to serve on the Coronado Council Scouting America Board.

In this season, I am thinking about how Scouting was such an important part of my son’s growing up years.  I know many of my scouting friends have pictures just like these, showing a young person participating in Scouting, a process which left a permanent imprint on them.  Confidence.  Resourcefulness.  An ability to take on a project and finish it. 

Giving Tuesday is coming right up and I’m asking you to consider making a donation to the Coronado Council for Giving Tuesday.  In honor of what your Scout took away from Scouting.  In honor of someone you know that loved Scouting and being a Scout Leader. And because the Council needs support to continue to deliver the Scout Promise to a new generation of Scouts.  The Scouting program is a proven method of developing young leaders.
