Membership Kickoff Summit Events
Summer is going right along, and we are so excited to see many of you at the camps and events going on.
We are getting ready for our 3 big Membership Summit Events across the council. Last year, we had some struggles in recruitment, and we want to help our units have a good recruiting fall for 2025.
There are 3 scheduled summits that are coming up that you can attend. Each one will have the same general information, but the key discussions will likely focus on units from that area. Ex: if you are in Wheatland District and attend the Summit in Tomahawk, expect key discussion on Tomahawk units, but the recruitment information – tips & tricks will all be exactly the same. Why do we mention that? Well, sometimes you can’t make the one that you would normally attend, and we want everyone to know that you can get the same help and training for fall recruitment, no matter which one you might attend.
We will be reviewing the fall plans for this year's Cub Scout recruitment events and discussing Cub Fun Day events that we look to hold Sept/Oct for all new and current cubs to attend and get an immediate taste of Cub Scout Fun 😊
Listed here are the 3 Dates, Times, and Locations for the Summit events coming up in July. We very strongly urge every pack to bring at least 2 people to these events. These summits are a FANTASTIC way for parents to help out without being a registered leader. We are seeing many parents who want to help but just don’t know how, here is your chance. This is exactly the opportunity you are looking for, and take some of the load off the plate of our key leaders. Ask a bunch of your parents to come. If we fill the room and run out of chairs, THAT would be a thing of beauty for all our packs.
